Less expensive generator systems use manual systems in order to operate them. These types of generators use diesel fuel to run efficiently. These systems do not operate automatically whenever there is a power outage so they have to be manually switched on by the user in order to use it. These types of generators are considered to be reliable in terms of quality electric supply.
These less expensive generators are fuel-efficient. They consume less fuel compared to generators that use gas. While they consume less fuel, they can produce enough loads akin to their predecessors. These types of generators are recommended for household use.
In addition, diesel-powered generators are more durable and can run for approximately 2000 to 3000 hours before undergoing thorough maintenance. These equipments do not have any spark plugs to maintain. It is, however, recommended to regularly change the oil and do some general cleaning to achieve top performance of these equipments. Another advantage is that you can purchase diesel fuel near your household so you never run out of fuel.
As these generators do not have spark plugs, there is less to worry about having a freak fire accident. Diesel fuels are less flammable than gas fuels. You can be rest assured of the safety of your family and your property.

This company specializes in producing generators that do not generate too much noise. These generators emit sounds at 59 decibels only at 20 feet. The EU1000, EU2000, EU3000 are the models with a quiet inverter. They are capable of providing 2000W of power and only weigh 46 pounds. These models can operate for about 15 hours on a tank of gas.
Another one is the Generac portable, which costs around $2000. This model is ideal for home use or for camping purposes. However, the machine weighs 400 pounds, which is considered too heavy for handling. It has an electric starter, which is an air-cooled engine. This model comes with tube framed housing for protection and is installed with wheels similar to a wheel barrow for easy transportation.
