In the 1980’s, Chris Van Allsburg wrote a novel called The Polar Express, which subsequently was made into a film in 2004, and it’s popularity soared. Robert Zemeckis, an award-winning director, producer, and screenwriter, created the film Polar Express, that opened on Thanksgiving Day in 2004 and starred the very favored Tom Hanks in a range of roles. Using leading edge animation technology, Polar Express tells the story of a young boy who needs to get the reality about Santa Claus. The Polar Express is the legal moniker given to the train during the picture. Concerned purely with providing kids with adventures, this locomotive travels back and forth to the North Pole.
Thanks to the popularity of this motion picture, numerous people desired to bring home a train made in the likeness of the Polar Express.
