Mexico has many tourist attractions but none appeal to movie enthusiasts more than Baja’s Estudios de la Playa, also known as Fox Studios Baja. Mexicos only Pacific Coast-based, working movie set was built for the movie Titanic and actually housed the re-created ship and other settings seen throughout the movie. In addition to Titanic, other big budget movies have been filmed at this studio including Tomorrow Never Dies, Pearl Harbor, Master and Commander and more.
The Mexican government does not honor foreign car insurance policies so if you are considering driving in Mexico from the US or Canada, you must obtain Mexican auto insurance.
