Use dodge ram for daily driving or buy a honda?
I have dodge ram 1500 mega cab with Hemi and the engine is not yet broken in.
the length of driving to my work and school is average 100 miles a day.
Should i just use the dodge ram and use it for daily driving or should i get honda civic with it and use the honda for daily driving and dodge ram for weekend driving?
Reason why i asked because i pay about 500 a month for this truck and if i use it only for weekend,, kinda feel like waste of money but the truck’s mpg is not good either. If im going to get a honda, i will get like really cheap one like 2000 civic for 5k.
Also i figured it out that if i use my truck, it will be 100 bucks a month for gas (34 gallon tank, average 15 mpg, 100 miles a day there and back, 5 days a week) but if i use a car, it will be 30 dollars a month ( i used to own scion tc and the mpg on that car is 30 similar with honda civic but a bit better mpg.
Get the Honda for commuting. The price of fuel alone will cost you more per month on that Ram than what it would cost to own & fuel that Honda.
